The company develops TRANCITY Nebula, a cloud-based SaaS platform that automatically generates 3D point clouds and 3D models from video footage captured by drones, inspection robots, or mobile devices, and manages the data as time-series 4D layers on a digital map for infrastructure site management. Core capabilities include 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) rendering for fine structural details, generative AI chatbot navigation, BIM/CAD import, measurement tools, and collaborative annotation.
CalTa also provides field data acquisition services using small drones (IBIS2 for confined spaces, SOTEN for outdoor), earthworm-type pipe inspection robots (Sooha), and the SEAMS LiDAR backpack/vehicle system. Clients span over 130 organizations including JR East, JR West, JR Central, JR Kyushu, and government agencies, covering railway facility inspection, road management, port management, sewage infrastructure, and construction progress monitoring.
