Component weights used in the balancing process are specified to within 0.1 ounce.

ATI states that SmartBay lets a shop process more than double the vehicle throughput of a conventional manual tire-changing bay without adding floor space or technicians, aiming the system at service operations that have struggled to hire and retain skilled tire technicians.
