ASYS Group Americas supplies SMT handling, printing, marking, depaneling and assembly-automation equipment for electronics manufacturing across the Americas.
ASYS Group Americas Inc. is the North, Central and South American subsidiary of the ASYS Group, a German automation-equipment manufacturer headquartered in Dornstadt that employs over 1,400 people across 15 operating subsidiaries and 20 branch offices in more than 40 countries. The Americas unit, based in Suwanee, Georgia, supplies and services the group's SMT and electronics-production portfolio: PCB handling modules (line loading/unloading, transport, buffering, flip/turn, shuttle/lift), laser and label marking and verification systems, depaneling machines (milling, sawing and laser), testing, cleaning, cleanroom technology and material/intralogistics systems. Through the EKRA brand it offers screen and stencil printing systems for solder paste and adhesives, while the INSIGNUM brand provides traceability solutions used by major automotive manufacturers. The group's machines build complete SMT production lines and smart-factory solutions and serve control electronics, consumer electronics, EMS providers, automotive, semiconductor, and defense and aerospace customers.
ASYS Group Americas, founded in 1998, provides regional sales, applications support, spare parts, training and field service for these systems. Member companies include ASYS Automatisierungssysteme (handling and process machines), EKRA (printing), ASYS Assembly Solutions, ASYS Prozess- und Reinraumtechnik (cleanrooms and dry storage), ASYS TECTON (tray handling and palletizing), ASYS Metall and Totech Europe (dry storage). The Americas office gives customers in the USA, Canada, Mexico and Brazil local access to the group's electronics, life-science and energy automation lines.
