Amerden, Inc. is an Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems company headquartered in St. Augustine, Florida. Since 1988 the company has designed, installed and supported AGV-based material handling systems for manufacturing and distribution facilities across North America.
Amerden's work covers new AGV installations, retrofit and refurbishment of aging AGV fleets, spare-parts supply, and ongoing service and repair. Rather than selling a fixed product line, the company engineers tow vehicles, pallet trucks and unit-load carriers to match each customer's facility layout, and it maintains and upgrades legacy AGV control systems built on AGV Electronics, AGVE, AGVP, E80 and Kollmorgen NDC platforms. Amerden also works with AGV manufacturer Rocla and with Kollmorgen on navigation and control components.
Amerden is listed as a partner of the Material Handling Institute, the North American trade association for material handling and logistics equipment.
