AgXeed B.V. is a Dutch autonomous-agriculture company founded in 2018 and headquartered in Grubbenvorst, the Netherlands, started by four founders with backgrounds in tractor manufacturing. The company sold its first commercial AgBot unit in 2022.
AgXeed builds the AgBot line of autonomous field robots alongside TraXwise, a cloud platform for route planning, fleet management, and implement data integration. The lineup includes the tracked T2 series for high-draft work such as ploughing and cultivating, and wheeled W3 and W4 models for row-crop and orchard tasks such as seeding, spraying, and weeding; the newest T2 7 Series, shown in November 2025, runs a diesel-electric drivetrain rated at 230 horsepower with roughly 9 tonnes of rear lift capacity. All models take standard three-point-linkage implements and use onboard cameras, LiDAR, and GPS RTK navigation for obstacle detection and centimeter-level positioning.
In 2021, CLAAS, one of the larger agricultural-machinery manufacturers, acquired a minority shareholding in AgXeed as part of a funding round that also included Amazonen-Werke, Saxovent Smart Eco Investments, Amathaon Capital, and the European Innovation Council, supporting joint development and distribution of the autonomous platforms. AgXeed markets the AgBot on labor and operating-cost savings compared with conventional tractors for compaction-sensitive fieldwork.
