Accenture plc is a global professional services and technology consulting company incorporated in Ireland and headquartered in Dublin. Originally established as Andersen Consulting in 1989 as a separate business unit of Arthur Andersen, it adopted the Accenture name in 2001 and reincorporated from Bermuda to Ireland in 2009. In the robotics and automation domain, Accenture provides system integration and consulting services enabling enterprises to design, deploy, and manage robotic systems across factories, warehouses, and industrial networks. Its offerings include implementation of smart robotic work cells using real-time data for rapid prototyping, simulation, and warehouse integration; standardization of robotic work cells for rapid multi-site deployment; and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) through a Centre of Excellence co-established with Automation Anywhere.
In October 2025, Accenture launched its Physical AI Orchestrator, a proprietary system built on NVIDIA Omniverse libraries and the NVIDIA Mega Omniverse Blueprint, to coordinate robotic and autonomous systems in industrial environments. In 2026, Accenture invested in General Robotics through its venture capital arm to advance enterprise deployment of the GRID unified intelligence platform, which connects and orchestrates robots from over 40 manufacturers including FANUC, Flexiv, Ghost Robotics, Galaxea, and Psyonic. Accenture also partnered with Schaeffler in 2025 to deploy industrial humanoid robots in automotive and precision manufacturing environments. Its autonomous robotic systems practice spans strategy, integration, and managed operations for industrial clients seeking to address workforce constraints and factory productivity challenges.
