BYD has officially begun taking orders for its Atto 3 electric crossover in South Korea, priced starting at 31.5 million won ($21,600). This competitive pricing strategy positions the Atto 3 below nearly all comparable models from domestic rivals Hyundai and Kia, as the Chinese automaker aims to capture a larger share of the South Korean electric vehicle market. The launch comes amid a growing demand for electric vehicles in the region, and BYD's aggressive pricing is intended to attract budget-conscious consumers. In addition to the Atto 3, BYD plans to introduce two more electric models, the Seal and others, further expanding its presence in South Korea's evolving automotive landscape.
