Shanghai, Sept. 26, 2025 – Beatbot, the fast-rising premium pool-cleaning robotics brand under Starmax Innovation, has raised more than RMB 1 billion in its latest funding round. The financing was led by DragonBall Capital (Meituan’s investment arm), with continued backing from Hillhouse Ventures, Shunwei Capital, and other existing investors.

Founded less than two years ago, Beatbot has rapidly become the market leader in its category. The company captured 85% of the $1,400-and-above price segment in its first year and now commands over 90% of the ultra-premium market in 2025.

Beatbot credits its dominance to a user-centric approach and a full-stack R&D strategy. More than 60% of its workforce is dedicated to technology development, with over 260 patents filed to date. Its products are widely recognized for redefining standards in pool-cleaning performance, usability, and design.

The company has also pursued an aggressive global branding strategy, combining strong online/offline channel presence with celebrity partnerships to accelerate international reach.

Looking ahead, Beatbot plans to deploy the new capital to expand R&D, strengthen global market penetration, and enter new product categories. The company officially announced its move into the intelligent lawn-mowing robotics sector, positioning itself to reshape the broader smart yard robotics market.

“We see enormous potential in extending our expertise from pool-cleaning to other high-value household and outdoor robotics,” the company said in a statement. “This funding marks a pivotal step toward building the next generation of intelligent garden robotics.”
