Yarbo is a US outdoor-robotics company headquartered in Ronkonkoma, New York. The business began in 2015 as a concept for an autonomous snow-clearing robot under the name Snowbot, moved through prototype testing in 2018 and a public beta in 2021, and adopted the Yarbo name in 2022 alongside a crowdfunding campaign that raised more than 3.45 million dollars.
The company's Y Series pairs a tracked autonomous core unit with interchangeable seasonal modules: a Lawn Mower module and higher-capacity Lawn Mower Pro module for cutting grass, a Snow Blower module for winter clearing, a Blower module for leaf cleanup, and a Trimmer module for edge and detail work, all swapped onto the same base. The core unit navigates using RTK-GPS positioning fused with computer vision and onboard sensors, and its tracked drivetrain is built to hold traction on slopes and uneven yards. A lighter M Series, aimed at smaller residential lots, opened for pre-order through Kickstarter in 2026.
By 2024 the company had shipped more than 5,000 units, and by 2026 cumulative sales had passed 50,000 units across more than 30 countries, including the United States, Canada, the UK, Germany, France, Sweden, and Australia. Yarbo has received the Red Dot Design Award (2023), an Edison Award (2024), a CES Innovation Award (2025), and an iF Design Award (2026).
