VUOTOTECNICA S.r.l. is an Italian manufacturer of vacuum components and systems for material handling and lifting, based in Beverate di Brivio in the province of Lecco, Italy. Founded in July 1975 by Giuliano Bosi, the company is a second-generation family-run business that marked its 50th year in 2025 and manufactures in Italy.
The catalog groups into suction cups, vacuum pumps, vacuum generators, cup holders, control instruments, valves, filters, piping and fittings, and the Octopus gripping systems. Suction cups are molded in silicone (including FDA-compliant and metal-detectable food grades), polyurethane, the non-marking Biond compound, and the Benz compound for oiled automotive sheet, in flat, bellows, Bernoulli non-contact, and Maxigrip designs. Oil-bath rotary vane pumps deliver 160 to 300 m3/h with final pressures of 10 or 0.5 mbar absolute, while the PVP and M series single- and multi-stage pneumatic generators cover 3.6 to 18 m3/h at a final vacuum of 150 mbar absolute. Octopus units are flexible vacuum gripping bars with calibrated sections or self-closing valves on aluminum or Polizene plates, fitted to robot end-effectors for pick-and-place of parts with irregular or porous surfaces.
Products are used in glass, wood, marble, sheet-metal stamping, packaging, food, printing, solar cell handling, and robotics.
