Vantor is a spatial-intelligence company headquartered in Westminster, Colorado, formed on October 1, 2025 when Maxar Technologies split into two companies and renamed its intelligence division from Maxar Intelligence to Vantor; the space-manufacturing division became Lanteris Space Systems. The company traces its lineage to DigitalGlobe, a satellite-imagery provider founded in 1992 that merged with MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates in 2017 to form Maxar Technologies, which Advent International acquired for 6.4 billion dollars in a deal completed in May 2023.
Vantor operates a commercial imaging-satellite constellation capable of revisiting a location up to 15 times per day and collecting close to 7 million square kilometers of high-resolution imagery daily, including more than 3.5 million square kilometers at 30-centimeter resolution. Its Tensorglobe platform fuses satellite, drone, and ground-sensor data into an updating digital model of Earth's surface, while Raptor, part of its Mission Solutions portfolio, targets navigation in GPS-denied environments. Other platforms include the WorldView imagery lines and the Vivid Mosaic, Terrain, and Features datasets.
Vantor states it supplies more than 90 percent of the foundational geospatial intelligence used by the U.S. government and serves 60-plus government partners worldwide. The company employed about 1,900 people in 2025.
