Unicontrol, founded in 2018 and headquartered in Odense, Denmark, develops user-friendly and affordable 3D machine control software systems for excavators and bulldozers used in earthmoving and grading operations. Its flagship product, Unicontrol3D, provides real-time grade guidance to machine operators, integrating GPS positioning with design file delivery via its UnicontrolCloud platform. Operators can receive updated site plans directly from the office to the cab, improving accuracy and reducing rework.
The company operates through a global network of over 82 certified distributors across 26 countries and has deployed thousands of systems worldwide. In August 2024, Unicontrol was acquired by Spectra Precision LLC, a laser positioning and construction technology company, joining a portfolio that includes Seco and Loadrite. Prior to acquisition, Unicontrol had approximately 65 employees.
