Dutch horticulture automation firm born from the 2025 TTA-ISO merger, making planting, sorting and grafting machines plus the HarvAI tomato harvesting robot.
TTA-ISO is a Dutch supplier of automation equipment for horticulture and indoor farming, formed by the merger of two machine builders, TTA and ISO (ISO Horti), announced in February 2025. Investment firm Cibus Capital retained a majority stake in the merged company and provided additional funding for the deal. TTA-ISO reports more than 250 employees and operations in the Netherlands, North America, South America, Australia and the United Arab Emirates. Its Dutch locations are in Gameren, Bleskensgraaf and De Goorn, with further offices in McMinnville (Tennessee, USA), Caboolture near Brisbane (Australia) and Shanghai (China). The management team is led by CEO Jan Bakker, with Bram Verschoor (CCO), Peter Rietveld (CBDO), Arie Vergunst (CFO), Teus van Vianen (CTO) and David den Hartigh (COO).
The company builds machines for handling, selecting and harvesting plants and crops grown under glass and indoors. Equipment categories cover transplanting of plugs and cuttings, sorting, grafting, germination correction, harvesting, pot and tray handling and packing, for the ornamentals, bulbs and cut flowers, food, and carbon and forestry sectors. The CuttingPlanter 2.0 plants cuttings automatically at up to 4,000 plants per hour, and the MaxSorter is a sorting machine. Named customers include Akre, Infinite Acres, BPK, Florensis, Creach Greenhouses and 80 Acres Farms.
HarvAI is TTA-ISO's tomato harvesting robot. It drives on greenhouse heating rails with uniform 550-600 mm spacing, navigates along a 3D-guided path and uses an AI ripeness model that the crop manager can adjust, harvesting selectively to raise the share of A-class tomatoes. The robot is rated at 450 vines per hour, one operator can supervise up to six robots, it operates at 10-40 degrees C and 75-90% relative humidity, disinfects itself automatically and supplies crop performance data. Service for legacy TTA and ISO machines continues through separate service lines.
