The company's GNSS receivers were the first to employ multi-constellation reception and utilize Universal Tracking channel technology to automatically optimize signal acquisition across all available satellite constellations, achieving sub-centimeter positioning accuracy. Its product portfolio includes the HiPer and GR series GNSS receivers, GT and OS series robotic total stations, and the IP-S3 3D mobile mapping system, alongside machine control solutions for excavators, dozers, and pavers.

The company entered construction machinery control technology in 1994, precision GPS receivers in 2000, and precision agriculture in 2006, building its portfolio through organic development as well as mergers and acquisitions. At CONEXPO 2026, Topcon unveiled new 3D machine control technologies, safety features for earthmoving and paving, and geomatics innovations for surveying and building construction applications, reflecting continued investment in smart infrastructure automation.
