Tonly Technology Co., Ltd. is a Shenzhen Stock Exchange-listed (ChiNext board, ticker 301255) original design and manufacturing (ODM) platform enterprise headquartered in the Zhongkai High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Huizhou, Guangdong province. The company completed its initial public offering on July 28, 2023, raising a target of roughly RMB 1.015 billion through underwriter Huatai United Securities. Its largest shareholder and actual controller is Li Dongsheng, the founder of TCL, whose control of Tonly Technology makes it the fourth Shenzhen- or Shanghai-listed company under his influence, alongside TCL Technology, Aoma Electric, and TCL Zhonghuan.

Tonly Technology designs and manufactures acoustic and smart hardware products for major global consumer-electronics and internet brands, including Sony, Samsung, OPPO, Google, Amazon, and ByteDance. Its principal product categories are Bluetooth speakers and soundbars, wearable devices, AIoT products, and precision mechanical components and accessories. In 2022 the company shipped 7.31 million Bluetooth speaker units, giving it an estimated 14.48 percent share of the global market, and 3.12 million soundbar units, for an estimated 18.1 percent global share, figures the company has cited to support its position as one of the largest ODM suppliers in the audio category. Full-year 2022 revenue was approximately RMB 10.03 billion, with net income of about RMB 372 million and a gross margin near 14.75 percent. The company operates research and development centers across five locations, including a facility in Penang, Malaysia that opened an expanded office in August 2024, and employs more than 1,400 R&D personnel group-wide.

Among its precision-components business, Tonly Technology manufactures reducers and other precision mechanical parts. In November 2024, in response to investor questions prompted by speculative trading activity in robotics-related stocks, the company's board secretary stated publicly that its reducer products were not currently applied in humanoid robots, while noting the company would continue monitoring the development of the robot-reducer and precision-reducer market. Tonly Technology's core revenue base therefore remains consumer-electronics ODM manufacturing rather than robotics, though its existing precision-component and reducer manufacturing capability represents a potential, as-yet-unrealized point of entry into robotics component supply.
