Tommoro Robotics is a South Korean Physical AI company founded in 2022 as a spinout from Seoul National University's Biointelligence Lab. The company develops Robot Foundation Models (RFMs) — general-purpose AI systems for robots — alongside a dexterous robotic hand hardware platform and a complete end-to-end software stack for robot intelligence.

The company's core technology is the sRFM (Small Robot Foundation Model), a compact, on-device AI model that enables robots to understand language, perceive their environment, and act autonomously without reliance on cloud connectivity. Its reduced model size lowers hardware costs and enables ultra-fast inference. The sRFM is cross-embodiment capable, meaning it can control different robot hardware platforms — arms, humanoids, collaborative robots — from a single trained model. The platform includes self-refinement for continuous real-world improvement.

Tommoro's software suite includes Habilis-beta (a Vision-Language-Action model released March 2026, targeted at industrial environments), Habilis Brain (core AI reasoning module for humanoids), and Habilis Console (an operator dashboard for monitoring and managing humanoid robot deployments). The company also offers an end-to-end MLOps pipeline for robot control, data collection, augmentation, model training, inference, and visualization.

On the hardware side, Tommoro's products include the HABILIS Hand combined with the WUJI Hand hardware platform (made by Wuji Technology). The combined platform supports robotic hands with 20 or more degrees of freedom, enabling precise, coordinated, and intelligent manipulation. Key specs for the WUJI Hand include 20 DoF, weight under 600 g, fingertip force of 15 N, and durability exceeding 300,000 grasp cycles with USB, RS485, and EtherCAT interfaces.

Primary application focus is logistics automation, including product sorting, parcel transportation, tote box transportation, palletizing, and depalletizing. Expanding focus areas include manufacturing, retail, food and beverage, domestic services, agricultural and field robotics (MOU with Daedong Robotics), and surgical robotics (Samsung Seoul Hospital consortium, May 2026).

Led by Co-CEO Byoung Tak Zhang (professor of Computer Science at Seoul National University and Chairman of the K-Humanoid Alliance) and Co-CEO Sangwook Park (formerly managing director at Atinum Investment), Tommoro is a core member of the K-Humanoid Alliance and participated in the HUMANOID M.AX Alliance at CES 2026. The company completed a Pre-A funding round in December 2025, with Ecopro Partners confirmed as an investor. Strategic MOUs include FASSTO (smart fulfillment), TXR Robotics, Daedong Robotics, and Robotis.
