For robotics and automation specifically, TI offers a comprehensive portfolio: C2000™ MCUs with integrated EtherCAT and PROFINET support for real-time field-bus communication, DRV8xxx-series motor-driver ICs supporting stepper and BLDC motors up to multi-kilowatt levels, TIDA reference designs for collaborative robot (cobot) joint modules, and edge-AI processors such as the TDA4VM for machine vision and lidar processing. These chips serve every major robot architecture, from joint servo control to perception pipelines.
TI ships more than 80,000 distinct products to over 100,000 customers across industrial, automotive, personal electronics, communications, and enterprise segments. The company holds the largest market share in the global analog semiconductor market—exceeding $10 billion of the roughly $57 billion total analog market. Fiscal year 2025 revenue was approximately $17.68 billion. Manufacturing operations span multiple continents; all TI fabrication sites are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001. TI is publicly traded on Nasdaq under the ticker TXN.
