Kyiv-based UAV maker (formerly TAF Drones) producing Kolibri FPV drones, recon UAVs and interceptors; reported 50,000+ FPV drones a month in 2025.
TAF Industries is a Ukrainian defence manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles and electronic warfare equipment, formerly trading as TAF Drones. Wingcopter, its German joint-venture partner, describes it as Ukraine's largest producer of UAVs and says its reconnaissance systems have been used extensively in real operational conditions at the front. According to the research firm Sacra, the company was founded in 2022 and is headquartered in Kyiv. Volodymyr Zinovskyi is named as chief executive in the February 2026 joint-venture announcements.
Its core product is the Kolibri family of first-person-view (FPV) strike quadcopters, built in 7-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch propeller sizes, together with the Kolibri FR13 relay carrier for extended range. Sacra reports that each Kolibri carries a 1 to 2 kg payload to targets several kilometres away and that the company reached 50,000 to 65,000 FPV drones per month by mid-2025, with about 1,000 staff across 20 production sites; these figures rest on founder disclosures and are not independently confirmed. The wider line-up described by Sacra includes Babka reconnaissance UAV complexes supplied in sets of two aircraft, the Octopus-100 interceptor drone for destroying hostile UAVs, a TAF-I10 interceptor and a winged one-way attack UAV in development, and a Last Mile clip-on guidance module that takes over terminal guidance when the radio link is jammed.
Beyond aircraft, the group builds electronic warfare systems. Its Kvazar 3M system passed Ukrainian Ministry of Defence testing and was approved for use on armoured vehicles, and Sacra also lists a Kvazar backpack jammer and a Dome portable RF shield. Sacra describes a holding of five companies covering FPV production, reconnaissance drones, electronic warfare, component imports and software, including majority stakes in the Kvazar and Babka businesses acquired since mid-2023.
On 13 February 2026, at the 62nd Munich Security Conference, TAF Industries and Wingcopter signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a joint venture under the Build with Ukraine framework. TAF contributes licensed designs and operational experience from its reconnaissance UAV systems, while Wingcopter and its Security & Defence unit provide industrial infrastructure, engineering and manufacturing capacity in Germany, with the aim of keeping supply running during wartime and reducing industrial risk. The partners also plan to develop and localise future UAV platforms for European Union and NATO markets. Sacra additionally reports that TAF was one of the drone makers in the pilot of the DOT-Chain Defence procurement marketplace serving Ukrainian combat brigades, and that it has a partnership in the United Kingdom for interceptor production.
