Tachin Technology Co., Ltd. is a Beijing company founded in early 2020 that develops flexible tactile-sensing hardware, described as electronic skin, for robots, vehicles and consumer products. The same platform extends into automotive interiors through cabin, steering-wheel and anti-pinch tactile-sensing systems, and into consumer products including office chairs, mattresses and plush toys. Tachin organizes its business around four areas: embodied intelligence, smart vehicles, health and living, and emotional companionship.
The company has been recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise and a Beijing Specialized-and-Sophisticated small and medium enterprise, and it received a 2025 Best Employer award from the China Association of University Continuing Education. Its research team is drawn from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Imperial College London and Harbin Institute of Technology, with more than 80 percent holding master's or doctoral degrees.
