It has about 900 members working in deep tech, including about 600 start-ups, SMEs and mid-sized companies, 140 large groups, 160 academic institutions, an investor college and around 30 local authorities. The cluster reports 850 funded projects representing EUR 4.05 billion of R&D.

Wider themes listed by the cluster include robotics, quantum, 5G/6G, cloud, high-performance computing, digital twins and deep tech for bio-production and health. Working groups cover semiconductors, decarbonisation and quantum, and a defence programme was launched with support from the French armament agency DGA and the Defence Innovation Agency (AID). Its projects include ARISE, an EU project on deploying industrial human-robot interaction. The cluster provides members with project labelling, calls for projects, events, matchmaking and support services.
The cluster is chaired by Jean-Luc Beylat (Nokia Bell Labs France), with Karine Jacq as general delegate. Its offices are at the Nano Innov site, Building 863, 2 boulevard Thomas Gobert, Palaiseau.
