Swarmer, Inc. is a defense technology company founded in May 2023 by Serhii Kupriienko and Alex Fink, originally based in Kyiv, Ukraine, that builds software for coordinating swarms of unmanned vehicles across air, ground, and sea. The company is headquartered at 4515 Seton Center Pkwy, Suite 330, Austin, Texas, with engineering staff retained in Ukraine.
Its product line has three parts: Swarmer UI, a command-and-control interface through which one operator plans missions, streams video, and directs coordinated operations across a swarm; Swarmer AI, decision-making software that adapts drone tactics and behavior to conditions detected during a mission; and Swarmer OS, an embedded operating system built on zero-trust networking principles that lets drones and ground vehicles from different manufacturers join a single Swarmer-managed fleet. The software is built to keep working under communications jamming and GPS denial, conditions common in electronic-warfare environments.
Swarmer's platform entered combat use with Ukrainian forces in April 2024 and by 2026 had been used in more than 100,000 recorded missions across close to 50 military units. The company raised a $15 million Series A round in September 2025 and filed to list shares on the Nasdaq exchange in February 2026. In September 2026, Swarmer signed a definitive agreement to acquire Ratel Robotics, a Ukrainian unmanned ground vehicle manufacturer, in a deal valued at up to $224 million.
