SprutCAM Tech develops CAD/CAM and offline robot programming (OLP) software, tracing its origin to 1987 when it released its first-generation CAD/CAM solution. The company moved its headquarters to Limassol, Cyprus, in 2021, following earlier expansion that included an Italian distributor set up in 1999 and a US branch opened in 2020.
Its current products are SprutCAM X, a CAD/CAM package for CNC machine programming built around the company's Machine Aware technology, and SprutCAM X Robot, an integrated environment for programming, simulating, and generating collision-free toolpaths for six-axis and multi-axis industrial robots. Supporting tools include MachineMaker, a digital-twin simulation module introduced in 2019, a Robot Calibration App for tool-center-point calibration from a mobile device, and a built-in AI Assistant. The platform is applied to machining, grinding, welding, and additive manufacturing across robot cells from multiple manufacturers.
SprutCAM reports use in more than 50 countries through a network of over 100 dealers, with more than 25,000 users and over 10 million NC programs generated with the software. The company held its first Global Partner and User Conference in 2023.
