Spapperi NT S.r.l. (Spapperi New Technologies) is an Italian agricultural machinery manufacturer based in Citta di Castello, in the province of Perugia, Umbria. The company says it has built agricultural machinery since the early 1960s, more than 60 years, and serves horticultural and tobacco markets internationally. Its share capital is EUR 310,000.
The product range covers transplanters, film layers and bed formers, weeders and hillers, and trailers and conveyor belts, organised into lines for vegetables, tobacco, medicinal and aromatic herbs, and tree crops, plus a used-machine section. Vegetable crops served include garlic, broccoli, cauliflower, tomato, pepper, melon, potato and lettuce.
The weeder line includes the SA EM and SA EH models with tractor-dependent hydraulics and manual or hydraulic tine opening, the SA IM and SA IH models with independent hydraulics, the cone-type SC weeder and ridger, and the single-element ST03, ST05 and ST07 spring-tine weeders. The newest model, the SA IA, is an intra-row weeder with artificial intelligence, independent hydraulics and automatic opening and closing of the tines around crop plants, which is the company's robotics-relevant product. Spapperi also offers engineering services (consulting, design and construction), financial consulting and staff training through the Spapperi Academy, and is listed as an exhibitor at EIMA International 2026 in Bologna.
