Spacebit is a privately held British space robotics company founded in 2014 by Pavlo Tanasyuk and headquartered in London, England. The company is developing the Asagumo, a four-legged walking lunar rover weighing approximately 1.3 kg — the world's smallest robotic Moon rover. Unlike conventional wheeled rovers, Asagumo uses spider-like legs enabling traversal of rough terrain and descent into lunar lava tubes inaccessible to wheeled platforms.

The rover carries 3D LiDAR surface scanners, HD and multi-spectral cameras, and radiation and temperature sensors, and is solar-powered. Spacebit signed an agreement with Astrobotic in 2019 to deliver Asagumo on a CLPS mission, marking the first UK commercial payload to the Moon. A second payload delivery was booked aboard Intuitive Machines' Nova-C lander as part of NASA's Commercial Lunar Payload Services program.

Spacebit's long-term vision is to deploy swarms of walking rovers from a wheeled mother ship to map the interior of lunar cave systems.
