SNSolutions is a South Korean agricultural robotics company in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province, that sells mowing robots under the DARobot brand (Korean brand name Dabear). The company is headed by CEO Wonseok Ko.
Its main products are tracked, gasoline-powered cutter mowing robots for weed cutting on slopes, embankments and farmland. The SN-600 uses an 11.5 hp US-made engine and is rated at about 700 pyeong (roughly 2,300 square metres) per hour; the SN-800 has an 800 mm mowing width and is offered with a 16 hp engine; and the SN-800H is a hammer-type cutter model with a 23 hp engine rated at about 900 pyeong per hour. Besides outright sale, the SN-800 is offered as an autonomous mowing robot on a three-year subscription contract.
DARobot's autonomous driving stack is described as RTK-GPS-based sensor fusion with 3D lidar for obstacle detection, path planning around obstacles, AI recognition of weeds to correct the path and limit unnecessary actions, recorded trip data and a reinforcement-learning database. The company is also developing Robongi, a harvesting assistant robot for tomatoes, cherry tomatoes and strawberries (cucumber recognition has also been completed) that drives autonomously in 70 cm-wide greenhouse or field aisles, uses AI vision to locate crops, judge ripeness and find the stem cutting point, and harvests only when recognition confidence reaches 90 percent.
