SMARTSHOOTER Ltd., trading as Smart Shooter, is an Israeli defense technology company headquartered in Kibbutz Yagur, near Haifa, Israel. The company was founded in 2011 by Michal Mor and Avshalom Ehrlich to build electro-optical fire control systems that improve the first-shot accuracy of small arms and remote weapon stations. The company's core product line is the SMASH family of fire control sights, which combine electro-optical sensors, image processing and motion-tracking algorithms to lock onto and track a target - including small moving objects such as quadcopter drones - and release the trigger only when the calculated hit probability is highest.
