Skilled Group is an Italian manufacturer and integrator of industrial automation equipment, based in Schio in the province of Vicenza and founded in 1973. It positions itself as a single-source supplier of end-of-line automated solutions for logistics and distribution, and the Skilled brand has been in use since the company's founding. The group was formed by the merger of three businesses: Euroimpianti S.p.A., C&B S.r.l. and C&D Robotic, Inc.
Its mobile robot line consists of laser- and SLAM-guided AGV forklifts for pallet and pallet-sized container handling, including floor-to-floor transfer and pallet to and from high-bay storage. Eight models are published under the Skilled name. The Skilled 800 S carries 500 kg to 1,000 mm and the 800 M carries 800 kg to 1,500 mm. The Skilled 1000 M carries 1,200 kg to 2,000 mm and the 1000 L carries 1,500 kg to 4,000 mm. The Skilled 1400 M carries 1,500 kg to 2,500 mm and the 1400 L carries 2,500 kg to 4,000 mm. The extended-mast Skilled 1400 XL M carries 1,500 kg to 4,000 mm and the 1400 XL L carries 1,800 kg to 8,500 mm. Navigation is based on 2D SLAM.
Beyond AGVs the company covers warehouse logistics and material handling automation as a systems integrator, with Euroimpianti S.p.A. of Schio contributing the end-of-line palletizing heritage.
