SiLC's core technology is a single-chip FMCW (frequency-modulated continuous-wave) LiDAR sensor that measures range, velocity, and material properties simultaneously, producing what the company calls 4D-plus data. The Eyeonic product family includes the Trace and Trace Ultra laser line scanners, Class 1 eye-safe devices for dimensioning objects up to 10 meters away in industrial inspection; the Eyeonic Edge, covering 0.25 to 10 meters with depth precision better than 1 millimeter, range precision to 100 microns, and a software-defined field of view up to 40 by 40 degrees; and the Eyeonic Vista, an ultra-long-range 4D vision system for perimeter security and counter-UAS applications.

The company has raised a $17 million Series A round led by Alter Venture Partners and Dell Technologies Capital plus an additional $25 million round, with investors including Sony Innovation Fund, Epson, and UMC Capital; Honda made a strategic investment in September 2024 for mobility FMCW LiDAR. SiLC holds more than 50 granted U.S. patents and was a 2025 Automate Innovation Award finalist.
