Shelley Automation is a Canadian industrial automation distributor and integrator headquartered at 41 Coldwater Road in North York, Toronto, operating since 1959. It runs offices in Markham, Cambridge and Windsor in Ontario, Calgary and Edmonton in Alberta, and Delta in British Columbia, and sells across Canada through those branches and an online store.
Its line card is organised into automation, machine and motion control, robotics, pneumatics and industrial controls, with a medical imaging section listed on the site. Shelley is an Elite Distributor of SMC pneumatics and a certified distributor of Universal Robots, offering the e-Series UR3e, UR5e, UR10e, UR16e, UR20 and UR30 collaborative robots and the earlier CB-series. It also lists autonomous mobile robots for internal logistics from MiR, Yaskawa Sigma-X servo motors and SERVOPACK amplifiers from 3 W to 15 kW, Cognex machine vision including the In-Sight 3800, Dorner industrial, precision and sanitary conveyors, Gravotech laser marking enclosures such as the LW3, and Snap Signal industrial IoT products.
Beyond distribution, the company states that it provides value-added system integration and can design, engineer, fabricate and assemble systems and sub-systems to customer specifications, delivered either as standalone turnkey machines or as additions to existing lines. A dedicated assembler builds custom pneumatic manifolds, and Shelley operates as a certified repair centre for many of the products it sells. Application engineers prepare feasibility reports and provide technical support, and the company runs product workshops, machine vision training and collaborative robot training.
In September 2026 Shelley partnered with Singapore's Eureka Robotics to integrate the Eureka AI vision system into its automation solutions, adding AI bin picking for North American manufacturers. The robotics business therefore combines resale of cobot and AMR hardware with application engineering around grippers, vision and pick cells.
