Founded in 1990, the company operates a 7,000-square-meter factory and has over 35 years of experience in motor and gearbox design, machining, and manufacturing. All Sesame Motor products are 100% designed, produced, and tested in Taiwan. The product portfolio spans more than a dozen series: inline planetary gearboxes (parallel output shaft), right-angle planetary gearboxes, flange-output planetary gearboxes, large-frame planetary gearboxes (frame sizes 220 mm, 240 mm, and above 300 mm—designed for large CNC machine tools and rubber/plastic machinery), AGV/AMR-dedicated planetary gearboxes (PGV series), stainless-steel planetary gearboxes (for food, pharmaceutical, and biotech environments), Cartesian robot (gantry) planetary gearboxes, multi-output spiral bevel gearboxes (PT series, up to 500:1 reduction ratio), AC small standard motors/gear motors, electromagnetic brake motors, torque motors, variable-speed motors, and speed reducers. The PGV series AGV/AMR-dedicated gearbox won the Product Innovation Award at the 7th Industrial Innovation Awards organized by the Taichung Industrial Innovation Association in 2025, recognizing its high precision, high radial/axial load capacity, high rigidity, and rapid response characteristics suited to intelligent logistics and autonomous mobile robot applications. Sesame Motor holds CE, CCC, UL, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 certifications. The company exports to more than 40 countries through wholly owned subsidiaries and authorized distributors including in the USA, Germany, Denmark, Poland, UK, Turkey, Russia, South Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia, and India.
