SES AI's AI platform, Molecular Universe (MU), is an AI-for-Science SaaS tool that maps the universe of small molecules to accelerate material discovery. A companion AI system, Avatar, provides manufacturing defect detection and in-field battery health prediction. The company released MU-2.0 in March 2026 and MU-3.0 in May 2026.
