It holds status as a National High-Tech Enterprise and a Shanghai specialized-and-sophisticated enterprise, runs a Shanghai Academician (Expert) Workstation, and holds more than 140 patents; it says it was first in China's robotics industry to obtain OIML certification for weighing and measurement products.
SENAD designs embodied-intelligence loading-and-unloading robots under its iLoabot family (M, Pro, X, Ultra and D), combining machine vision, AI perception and autonomous-driving tech, citing a rate of up to 1,800 cartons per hour for warehouse inbound, outbound, storage and sorting work. A separate vision line covers single-piece separation equipment and dimensioning-weighing-scanning systems capturing package dimensions, weight and barcode data for e-commerce fulfillment. SENAD also describes a proprietary multimodal vision-language-action model it calls the logistics industry's first such model.
SENAD has raised several rounds: about 30 million yuan in a 2021 Series A, a further round in 2023 led by Puhua Capital, and a 300 million yuan Series C in 2025 including Manbang Group and Haitong Kaiyuan. Reported clients for its machine-vision business include JD Logistics and STO Express.
