HKEX-listed Shanghai maker of SRC mobile-robot controllers and software, selling the navigation brain that integrators build their own AMRs around.
SEER Robotics, incorporated as Shanghai SEER Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., is a Shanghai company founded in April 2020 that makes the controllers and software other firms use to build mobile robots. It listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 24 June 2026 under code 06106, pricing at HK$101.60 per share and raising about HK$995 million net; the shares opened 31.7 per cent higher, valuing the company at roughly HK$14.8 billion, and Chinese financial press described it as the first listed robot-brain company. Eight cornerstone investors took about HK$460 million of the base offering, among them HHLR Advisors, Yuanbao Family Office, 3W Fund Management and GF Asset Management. Founder, chairman and chief executive Zhao Yue controls about 52.9 per cent of voting rights.
The business model is to sell the robot brain rather than the robot. The core product is the SRC series of controllers, which an integrator or OEM installs into its own chassis to get localisation, navigation, motion control and peripheral control without writing that stack. The range is tiered by vehicle type: SRC-800 and SRC-880 for compact and differential-drive robots at the low-cost end; SRC-1000 for load-carrying transport robots; SRC-1100 for dual steering-wheel vehicles, with real-time EtherCAT; SRC-2000-I(S) as the general-purpose AMR controller; SRC-2000-F(S) for autonomous forklifts; and SRC-3000FS, which the company describes as the first safety-rated mobile-robot controller, supporting safety-rated emergency stop, obstacle avoidance, speed monitoring and position limits, with certification from TUV SAAR. The controllers support 2D and 3D laser SLAM navigation, multiple kinematic models, 3D-camera pallet recognition, roller and lift mechanisms, and up to twelve servo motors per unit.
Software sits on top. Robokit is the robot operating system running on the controller. Roboshop Pro is the implementation tool integrators use to build maps, configure models and deploy robots of any type from one environment. RDSCore is the robot dispatching system that schedules mixed fleets. Nebula is the company's accessories platform. Alongside the controllers the company also sells complete robots under its own name, in four families: autonomous forklifts, lifting robots, bin-handling robots and cleaning robots.
Commercially the company has grown quickly without yet turning a statutory profit. Revenue was RMB 184 million in 2022, RMB 249 million in 2023, RMB 339 million in 2024 and RMB 442 million in 2025. IFRS net loss was RMB 32.3 million, 47.7 million, 42.3 million and 47.1 million over the same four years, while the adjusted net loss narrowed from RMB 20.9 million in 2023 to RMB 2.9 million in 2025, close to break-even. Gross margin has held between roughly 46 and 49 per cent. Citing Frost and Sullivan, the company says it ranked first in the world by robot controller sales volume in 2023 and 2024, and it reports serving more than 2,000 integrators and end customers in over 35 countries, with a European subsidiary, SEER Robotics Europe GmbH. Its named target sectors are automotive, 3C electronics, new energy and general warehouse automation.
For a directory user the distinction that matters is where the company sits. It competes less with AMR makers than with the in-house navigation teams those makers would otherwise have to build, and its customers are frequently other robot companies. That makes it closer to a component and platform supplier than to a fleet vendor, although it now sells finished robots as well.
