Sealien Robotics is a subsea robotics manufacturer founded in 2023 and headquartered in the Nansha district of Guangzhou, China, with a manufacturing base at the Xintai CNC Industrial Park. The company was founded by Eamon Ma, a Harbin Engineering University graduate with more than fifteen years of marine-engineering experience, together with co-founders Ivan Lee and Aaron Qiao.
Sealien builds work-class remotely operated vehicles for offshore oil and gas, subsea telecommunications, offshore wind, and underwater-infrastructure customers. Its line includes the Singularity work-class ROV rated to a 6,000-meter operating depth, the Phoenix subsea cable and pipeline work ROV rated to 3,000 meters with cable-tracking and trenching capability, and the Taurus heavy-duty ROV rated to 1,000 meters. The company is also developing autonomous underwater vehicles and holds more than 250 intellectual-property filings covering its control systems and vehicle designs.
Sealien holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certification and is a member of the International Marine Contractors Association. In August 2026 it raised a Series A round exceeding CNY 500 million, with investors including GRC SinoGreen Fund, Fortune Capital, GGV Capital, and a Cathay Capital energy fund anchored by TotalEnergies.
