Italian tractor and harvester group behind SAME, DEUTZ-FAHR, Lamborghini Trattori, Hurlimann and Gregoire, owner of vineyard robot maker Vitibot.
SDF Group is an Italian manufacturer of agricultural machinery with more than 4,400 employees. It markets tractors, combine harvesters and other farm equipment under six brands: SAME, DEUTZ-FAHR, Lamborghini Trattori, Hürlimann, Grégoire and Vitibot, and offers precision agriculture solutions alongside its machines. The group has operations in Germany, including new offices at the DEUTZ-FAHR site in Lauingen, and has reported EBITDA of 11.5% of revenue.
The group's robotics activity comes through Vitibot, a French developer of autonomous vineyard robots that is now one of the SDF Group brands; Grégoire, also within the group, builds grape harvesters and vineyard equipment.
