"The autonomous robot platform that works for you"
Czech maker of the Roboton Farmer, an electric tracked autonomous robot that tills, sows, irrigates and weeds; run by TERMS a.s. of Plana.
Roboton is a Czech brand of autonomous robotic platforms for agriculture, logistics and defence. It is operated by TERMS a.s., a company registered with the Regional Court in Ceske Budejovice since 1 January 2002 (company ID 144 99 037). TERMS lists its address in Plana near Ceske Budejovice. The company traces its background to industrial and energy automation, control and data systems in the Czech Republic from the 1990s. Roboton grew out of that work as it moved into agriculture. The team includes developers, engineers, data specialists, agronomists and designers, and it tests machines in the Czech Republic and abroad. The company also runs Farma Roznov and holds field days for farmers.
The main product, Roboton Farmer, is a fully electric tracked robot that turns on the spot and works autonomously using RTK GNSS with a dual antenna and a local base station. Position updates run at 10 Hz with roughly 1 cm accuracy, and routes can be repeated over weeks. When a job is finished, the robot returns to its charging station. Its modular tools cover four tasks. The rotavator works at depths of 0 to 13 cm across a 190 cm width. The sowing unit carries 1 to 11 vacuum-metered seeding units with an optical check per seed, spacing accuracy of up to 1 cm and a reported 99.5 percent success rate. For irrigation, a 1,200-litre gravity-fed tank feeds 11 independently controlled nozzles. Weeding uses 1 to 11 configurable metal blades that shift within 0.2 seconds, guided by a 30 fps camera with a reported 98 percent weed-recognition accuracy. Soil sensors for moisture and hardness, obstacle detection and an app with real-time location and status complete the system.
The same platform is offered for material transport in logistics and for defence tasks including materiel transport, reconnaissance and casualty evacuation. Roboton's presentations at international trade fairs in 2025 and 2026 are co-funded by the European Union, with TERMS a.s. as grant recipient.
