London-based non-profit publication founded to connect robotics and AI researchers with the public; operated by the Association for the Understanding of AI.
Robohub is a non-profit online publication that connects robotics and artificial intelligence researchers with public audiences. It is operated by the Association for the Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AUAI), a registered UK charity that also runs the sister publication AIhub.org for AI research communication.
The platform publishes news, opinion pieces under a Views section, educational Learn content, and a podcast called Robot Talk that interviews researchers on subjects including surgical robotics, haptics, legged robots and drone navigation, with past guests from Imperial College London, Stanford University and Heriot-Watt University. Content comes from staff editors and from researchers at affiliated academic bodies; scientific supporters include AAAI, the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, ICML, IJCAI, ACM SIGAI, EurAI and RoboCup. Robohub covers conferences such as ICRA and RoboCup with news reports and video coverage, and distributes a Substack newsletter.
Editorial work is led by a Senior Managing Editor and Assistant Editor, with governance from a board of trustees drawn from universities including Bristol, Oregon State, Texas at Austin, Virginia Tech, California Irvine, Brown and Bergen. Robohub does not manufacture products or sell commercial robotics services; its content is made available for free republishing under stated guidelines.
