Quad Robotics
Chennai robotics training academy offering LEGO, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and Microbit courses for kids aged 7+ across three progressive skill levels.
Quad Robotics is a robotics education academy headquartered in Kattupakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (F3, 1st Floor KGT Homes, Kattupakkam, Chennai). The company was founded by Saravanan Shanmugam and is recognized as Chennai's first LEGO Education-based robotics training academy. Quad Robotics offers hands-on, age-appropriate robotics training for children aged 7 and above, structured across three competency levels.
Level 1 (Beginner) introduces fundamental programming, logical thinking, and simple robot construction using LEGO Education kits. Level 2 (Intermediate) advances to more complex robotics and problem-solving challenges. Level 3 (Advanced) integrates IoT, Machine Learning, and sensors using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and Microbit platforms, teaching students to build robots connected to the cloud that process real-time data and automate tasks.
The curriculum uses a gamified, project-based learning model with robotics competitions and challenge events. Quad Robotics also operates Quad Store (quadstore.in), an e-commerce platform selling STEM robotics kits. Its Q-Box processor is a plug-and-play module enabling 200+ projects without coding, using sensors for gas/smoke, fire, water, and infrared detection.
The teaching team includes a lead trainer with 12+ years of IT experience and over 3 years in robotics. The academy serves students online and in-person and has a YouTube channel at @quadrobotics7247.
