Power Technology, Inc. (PTI), founded in 1969 and headquartered in Alexander, Arkansas, designs, develops, and manufactures advanced laser solutions for analytical, industrial, biomedical, and defense markets. The company produces laser diode modules, diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers, tunable lasers, Q-switched lasers, and HeNe power supplies spanning wavelengths from 266 nm to 12,000 nm. PTI serves applications including microscopy, spectroscopy, holography, flow cytometry, laser-induced fluorescence, and high-resolution printing.
Operating from a 25,000-square-foot in-house facility, PTI machines its own metal components, builds its own circuit boards, and performs assembly, serving semiconductor, biotech, and defense sectors with configurable OEM and research platforms.
