PBA Systems designs, develops, engineers, and manufactures proprietary direct drive motors, actuators, precision stages, high-precision gantries, and modular motion systems. Its core product lines include ironcore, ironless, rotary, voice coil, and ARC-series direct drive motor technologies; linear and wide actuators; XY and multi-axis precision stages; and Air Bearing Nano Precision Gantry systems. The latter — specifically the Nano-Precision Dual Gantry Stage launched for Chip-on-Wafer-on-Substrate (CoWoS) semiconductor advanced packaging — targets flip-chip bonding, thermo-compression bonding, and hybrid bonding processes with nanometer-level repeatability.

Key end markets include semiconductor advanced packaging, metrology equipment, automated optical inspection (AOI), PCB pick-and-place, wafer handling (including EFEM and wafer robot systems), photonics and optics, and medical devices. PBA is an authorized Mitsubishi Electric e-F@ctory Alliance partner in ASEAN and works closely with Applied Materials on precision stage solutions.

Through a merger with SOONHAN Engineering, a South Korean precision stage specialist, PBA Group extended its depth of technology expertise. The company now operates R&D centers and sales offices in China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, India, the UK, the Netherlands, and the United States, backed by a global distributor network.

In addition to proprietary PBA-branded products, PBA Systems distributes third-party industrial automation components throughout Southeast Asia, including servo drives, encoders, motion control cards, and mechanical components. The company offers an online motor sizer tool, full engineering application support, and a maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) division covering aerospace spares and composites.
