ParaZero Technologies makes autonomous drone parachute safety systems and counter-UAS solutions; listed on Nasdaq (PRZO), founded 2014 in Kfar Saba, Israel.
ParaZero Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: PRZO) is an Israeli aerospace safety company founded in 2014 and headquartered in Kfar Saba, Israel. The company develops two complementary product lines for the drone industry: autonomous parachute recovery systems under the SafeAir brand, and counter-UAS interception systems under the DefendAir brand.
The SafeAir product line consists of plug-and-play ballistic parachute recovery systems designed for commercial drones. The SafeAir Autonomous Triggering System (ATS) continuously monitors flight parameters and deploys a parachute within milliseconds of detecting freefall, loss of control, or critical failure. Motors are cut instantly to prevent parachute entanglement. Current models include: SafeAir for DJI Mavic 3 series (ASTM F3322-22 certified, installs in 3-5 minutes); SafeAir M350 Pro (ASTM F3322-18 approved, EASA DVR certified, MoC 2511 and 2512 compliant, rated for DJI Matrice 350); SafeAir M-200 Pro (ASTM F3322-18 compliant); and the newly launched SafeAir M4, designed for the DJI Matrice 4 series with an airbag-based deployment mechanism, swappable parachute capsules, and triple sensor redundancy. All SafeAir systems use non-pyrotechnic deployment, making them safe for transport including checked airline baggage.
The DefendAir counter-UAS line provides layered soft-kill and kinetic interception capabilities using patented weighted-net technology. Configurations include a man-portable personal net launcher, fixed-site Net Pods, and an autonomous Stationary Turret with 360-degree radar and optical sensors that can detect, track, and neutralize hostile drones without human intervention. DefendAir nets are 25 square meters (5-meter sides) and have demonstrated 100% interception rates in trials against FPV kamikaze drones and heavy-lift platforms. ParaZero received multiple follow-on orders from the Israel Defense Forces in 2025-2026, including personal net launchers, net pods, and training services.
The company employs approximately 32 people and has raised capital through a Nasdaq IPO and subsequent registered direct offerings. It serves commercial drone operators, defense agencies, and public safety organizations seeking regulatory compliance for beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) operations.
