"OnRobot A/S is a manufacturer of end-of-arm tooling for collaborative and light industrial robots, headquartered in Odense, Denmark. The company was formed in 2018 through the merger of On Robot (founded 2015), OptoForce (2012) and Perception Robotics (2011) and acquired Purple Robotics the same year.
The range covers finger grippers (2FG7, 2FG14, 2FGP20, 3FG15, 3FG25, RG2, RG6 and the force-sensing RG2-FT), vacuum grippers (VG10, VGC10, VGP20, VGP30), the MG10 magnetic gripper and Gecko adhesive and soft grippers. The electric 2FG7 shows the design approach: 11 kg payload, 73 mm external grip range, 20 to 140 N adjustable force, IP67 rating, ISO Class 5 cleanroom certification and grip-loss detection with no compressed air. OnRobot also sells the HEX six-axis force/torque sensor, an electric screwdriver, a sanding tool, the Eyes vision system, Quick Changer tool changers and the LIFT100 robot elevator. All tools mount on arms from Universal Robots, ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa, Doosan, TM Robot, Kawasaki, Denso and others. The D:PLOY software platform configures palletizing, transferring, CNC machine tending and packaging applications with little programming.
