Hong Kong maker of OlloNi home companion robots, part of BizConf Technology (SZSE: 300578); OlloNi SS1 won an IFA 2026 Innovation Award.
OlloBot is the brand of Ollobot Robotics Limited, a Hong Kong-based developer of home companion robots that it calls cyber pets. The company describes itself as a member of BizConf Technology Co., Ltd., which is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange under code 300578, and names Lyn Fang as founder. Its website gives a Hong Kong address in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, and an operating address in the Minrray Building in Buji, Shenzhen, and lists a US telephone line for customer contact. The team is described as engineers, designers, psychologists and storytellers.
The product line is OlloNi, a wheeled companion robot intended to live in a family home, recognise household members and pets, and build a record of shared moments. OlloBot introduced the robot at CES 2026 and showed the OlloNi SS1 at IFA Berlin from 4 to 8 September 2026 on booth H1.2_174, together with the L1, where it received an IFA Innovation Award in the Home Entertainment category. The official store lists two configurations. The L1 has a height that varies between 660 and 1,200 mm, a footprint of 434 x 343 mm, a weight of 19 kg and a five-axis neck; the S1 measures 650 x 434 x 343 mm, weighs 17 kg and has a two-axis neck. Both are quoted with up to four hours of battery life, automatic docking for charging, an 8-inch main display, navigation sensors, fall detection, IMU orientation sensing, touch sensors, a moving speed of about 0.5 m/s, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and over-the-air updates.
The interaction design uses a 2+1 display arrangement of two circular eye screens and a central interaction screen, a six-microphone array in the ears for identifying who is speaking, and environmental sensing of room temperature, light level and spatial conditions. Software features named by the company include the EmpathCore emotional core, the Affinilog emotional recording engine, a removable Memory Heart Module that keeps stored memories when the user changes devices, approach and greeting without a wake word, and an Auto Capture function that, with explicit permission, edits household footage into short AI Vlog clips. Sensitive data and captured content can be stored locally, and remote family members can check in through the robot. A companion OlloNi app is announced as coming soon, and interchangeable outfits are sold as accessories.
A Kickstarter campaign planned for late August 2026 was postponed with no new date given, and at the time of collection the official store showed the robot as sold out with no price. The store states worldwide shipping, a 30-day after-sales guarantee and a three-year warranty. Press coverage of the CES launch appeared in Forbes, Engadget and AP News, and the IFA showing was covered by The Verge at the ShowStoppers event.
