Company Overview

Neuracle (, full name Neuracle Technology / (Changzhou) Co., Ltd.) is a Chinese brain-computer interface (BCI) company founded in 2011 by biomedical-engineering PhDs from Tsinghua University. The company develops both non-invasive and implantable neural-interface technologies spanning EEG acquisition hardware, signal-processing software, and clinical BCI systems for neuroscience research, neural-disease diagnosis, and motor rehabilitation. Its non-invasive product line includes the NeuSen series of EEG amplifiers and acquisition systems, such as the NeuSen W wearable EEG system, used widely in brain-science research and BCI experimentation. Neuracle's flagship implantable system, NEO, was co-developed with Tsinghua University: a coin-sized device that rests on the dura mater rather than penetrating brain tissue, using an array of sensors to record cortical activity and wirelessly stream it to an external decoder that translates user intent into commands for assistive devices, including a robotic glove that restores grasping function for patients with cervical spinal-cord injuries.

In March 2026 NEO received full commercial market authorization from China's National Medical Products Administration, making it the world's first implantable BCI to obtain commercial market approval and enabling its rollout within China's healthcare system. The company is headquartered in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, with operations also associated with Shanghai. Neuracle's BCI platforms function as human-machine interaction systems that drive robotic and assistive end-effectors directly from neural signals.
