Navflex, Inc. is a robotics company based in Brighton, Colorado that develops AI-enabled autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) purpose-built for autonomous trailer and container loading and unloading at warehouse docks. Its flagship platform is a fully autonomous single/double counterbalance AMR forklift, built on Hangcha hardware, that uses an advanced robotics AI system to adapt to dynamic dock conditions, real-world pallets, and changing environments while operating safely alongside human workers and manual forklifts. The system is designed for rapid deployment, with installation in hours rather than weeks, and a targeted ROI of 12 months or less. The AMR can load or unload European trailers in as little as 30 minutes and US trailers in about 35 minutes, and is compatible with 48 ft and 53 ft dry vans, European curtain-side, refrigerated and intermodal containers, plus standard North American, GMA, CHEP, LPR, Gaylord and custom pallet and rack types.
It carries a 2.0 metric ton lifting capacity, lifts to 3.0 m, travels up to 1.9 m/s, and runs on a maintenance-free lithium-ion battery rechargeable in 2 to 4 hours. Navflex integrates with warehouse management systems via OpenAPI or runs standalone through the Navflex Fleet Manager app for iOS and Android. The product meets ANSI B56.1 and B56.5 standards with third-party risk validation for in-trailer operation, and is pursuing CE certification and ISO 3691.4. Led by CEO Chuck Stovall, Navflex partners with Jungheinrich and Hangcha and positions itself as a pioneer of autonomous trailer and container (un)loading for logistics and supply chain operations.
