Mowito Robotics Inc. (formally Mowito Robotic Systems Private Limited) is an Indian robotics company incorporated on June 27, 2019, and headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The company was co-founded by Puru Rastogi and Adityanag Nagesh, who combined backgrounds in autonomous navigation software and hardware systems to address automation challenges in warehouses and factories.
Mowito initially built its reputation developing navigation software for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), creating the intelligence layer that interprets data from LiDAR sensors and depth cameras to enable reliable indoor navigation. The company participated in the 2019 winter cohort of Axilor, the startup accelerator backed by Infosys founders, and later received support from SOSV (a global venture capital firm focused on deep tech).
The company has since pivoted to developing complete robotic systems, with its flagship AI technology NeuralPick at the center of its product offering. NeuralPick enables robotic arms to perform fast, flexible picking operations using a single arm-mounted camera, without requiring custom jigs or fixtures, and with real-time adaptation to varying SKUs and item placements. The system is designed with an operator-first philosophy, enabling non-technical staff to manage and monitor robot operations.
Mowito has deployed its robotic picking solutions in the factories of major global manufacturers including Denso and Foxconn, validating its technology at industrial scale. The company also builds end-to-end automation systems for dark stores and convenience stores, where robots autonomously navigate the store, pick items, and bring them to dispatch areas.
The company's current focus areas include automotive manufacturing (wire harness assembly, assembly operations), electronics manufacturing (inspection and handling), and e-commerce fulfillment.
