"Full-Domain Mobility Leader"
Hangzhou maker (est. 2025) of MOVENEW wheeled quadruped robots, incl. an Ex db eb IIB T4 Gb explosion-proof P1 carrying 400 kg for industrial inspection.
Micbot (Hangzhou Juwei Technology Co., Ltd.) is a Hangzhou-based developer and manufacturer of wheeled quadruped (wheel-legged) robots for industrial and public-safety work. The founding team formed in June 2024 and set the wheeled-quadruped direction with early collaborations with Zhejiang University; the company was incorporated in February 2025 and built its first prototype that month. CEO and founder Wang Zixuan is a serial entrepreneur, and chief scientist Li Qinchuan is a quadruped-robot researcher; the company says core R&D members come from Stanford University, Zhejiang University and Zhejiang Sci-Tech University.
The product line is branded MOVENEW. The flagship MOVENEW T1 was developed in March 2025 and rolled off the line as a prototype in May 2025. Its official datasheet lists standing dimensions of 800 x 600 x 540 mm, a 3.5 or 4.5 kWh 72 V battery, top speed of 18 km/h, up to 12 hours endurance, 100 kg standing load and 50 kg continuous walking load, 25 cm step climbing, slopes up to 45 degrees, IP68 protection, 16 high-performance joint motors, and Jetson Orin NX Super plus RK3588 computing (181 TOPS). It uses the company's DynaCore whole-body motion system, NeuroFuse perception system and CogniDecide AI decision engine.
The industrial MOVENEW P1 entered mass production in November 2025. It weighs 77 kg with a hot-swappable 3.2 kWh battery, moves at 3 m/s, carries 400 kg standing and 200 kg walking, climbs 25 cm steps, operates from -40 to 55 C, and is rated IP67 (wheels IP68). It is offered with a composite explosion-proof configuration certified Ex db eb IIB T4 Gb and anti-magnetic design for electrolytic aluminium plants, chemical parks and power stations, and carries a 96-line automotive-grade lidar.
Micbot targets eight sectors including industrial inspection, firefighting and emergency rescue, public security patrol, medical logistics, commercial surveying and last-mile logistics. It opened an embodied-AI service centre in Qiantang District, Hangzhou on 30 June 2025, reports partnerships with an electrolytic aluminium producer and the Qiantang District Public Security Bureau, and in December 2025 set up a joint robotics institute with Zhejiang Sci-Tech University's School of Mechanical Engineering. It completed a Series A in January 2026 and, by April 2026, closed four Series A rounds raising several hundred million RMB, with investors including Binzhou State Investment, Weiqiao Group and Binhua Co.
