Ireland-based pioneer in paper-based 3D printing (SDL technology); entered receivership in March 2019, with assets acquired by CleanGreen3D Limited.
MCOR Technologies Ltd was an Irish company founded in 2005 in Dunleer, County Louth, Ireland, specialising in the design, development, and manufacture of paper-based 3D printing systems using Selective Deposition Lamination (SDL) technology. The company gained recognition for producing full-colour 3D printed models from standard office paper at low material cost, making it environmentally friendly relative to resin or powder-based systems. In 2014, MCOR raised over USD 32 million in venture funding.
The company launched the ARKe desktop 3D printer in 2016, the world's first full-colour desktop paper 3D printer. MCOR entered receivership on 21 March 2019 and ceased trading. Its assets and intellectual property were subsequently purchased by CleanGreen3D Limited in November 2019.
