LUMIMAX is the LED lighting brand of iiM AG measurement + engineering (operating as iiM GmbH), a German company based in Suhl with around 20 years of experience developing illumination for machine vision and industrial image processing. The LUMIMAX business unit designs, develops, manufactures and supplies highly functional LED lights and accessories used to optimize lighting results in automated inspection. The product range covers LED area lights and flat domes, modular lights, area flood lights, LED bar lights and modular bar lights, LED ring lights, high-power LED spot lights, dome lights, coaxial lights and dark-field illumination, complemented by an online configurator and a broad accessories program.
All fixtures are available in strobe versions with integrated strobe controllers to suppress motion blur and external light interference, and the company offers proprietary LightGuide and BLACK LightGuide technologies, high-power LED options, and a range of operating modes, controller technologies and connection standards. Specialized application lines include lighting for logistics processes, hygienic design and washdown environments, SWIR lighting, UV lighting, and lighting tuned for standard-compliant reading and verification of codes. LUMIMAX serves industries such as automotive, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals and food and beverage, and supports customers from consulting and feasibility studies through training and OEM solutions. iiM AG is a member of EMVA and VDMA.
