Company Overview

Lendurai OÜ is an Estonian defence technology company that develops on-board autonomy for uncrewed aerial vehicles operating where GPS and radio links are jammed or unavailable. It was founded in early 2024, is registered in Estonia under registry code 16918651 and is described by Invest in Estonia as based in Tallinn; its products are manufactured in Estonia using European components. The founders are chief executive Siim Maivel, previously founder of the payments company Investly and an alumnus of Bolt; Mark Cowan, who built machine learning infrastructure at Open Cosmos and Bolt; and Sergii Kharagorgiiev, a Ukrainian engineer who previously headed computer vision at Starship Technologies. The company says its team also draws on engineers from Milrem.

Lendurai's approach relies on camera-based computer vision and AI that runs entirely on the aircraft rather than on satellite navigation or a data link. Its two current products are Neocortex and Accipiter. Neocortex is an autonomy stack for UAV platforms that provides visual navigation and terminal guidance. It is supplied as a ready-to-go kit of software, onboard computer and cameras, is designed for PX4 autopilots with MAVLink support, can be adjusted to specific scenarios, works in goggle and on-screen modes, and integrates with command-and-control systems such as ATAK. Accipiter is a drone interceptor that detects and tracks targets with thermal and visible-light cameras, executes its mission automatically and is built to resist jamming and deploy quickly. Speed, range and payload figures are not published for either product.

The company states that Neocortex has been tested in real operations and battle-proven in Ukraine. It first worked with the Estonian armed forces, tests mainly in Estonia and conducts end-user testing with Ukrainian brigades and drone schools. It says its system needs about two days of operator training and aims for one operator per drone. Its primary market is NATO and allied forces, with civilian applications such as energy and agriculture planned later. In September 2026 Lendurai and the Israeli company Uvision announced plans to integrate their systems for NATO military applications.

In June 2025 Lendurai raised a EUR 5.57 million seed round from Expeditions Fund, HCVC and Vsquared Ventures to scale operations and hiring and expand business development.
